Who we are

Hey men,

My name is Jay Terry and I am a passionate lover of Jesus, husband, father, pastor, and mentor.

I radically encountered Jesus in 2014 that changed the trajectory of my life. I was on fire for Jesus and wanted everyone to know about it. The next couple of years where glorious but difficult. Glorious because Jesus was revealing Himself to me in prayer, but difficult because I felt like I was the only one burning.

This is the place from which 27FOUR was birthed.

I have seen so many men encounter Christ, become hungry for God, and long to become all that He has created them to be, but because of a lack of accountability, fall away. Without accountability, the natural gravitation of life is to make our life about many things, instead of the one thing that matters most.

27FOUR exists to see men of God get reconnected to their divine purpose and grow in the place of prayer.

“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.”
